The park also houses a 55-acre recreation center equipped with tennis courts, basketball courts, racquetball courts, and a gymnasium. Additionally, the city offers a community center and a 16,652-square-foot senior center that opened in September 2005.

Fountain Valley hosts an annual Summerfest in June at Mile Square Regional Park. This event features a car show, rides, music, and various booths, providing entertainment for residents and visitors alike.
